Match Report by St@tto

Leading scorer Marvin Johnson came to Harriers' rescue with two late goals to give Harriers their first-ever win at Princes Park.

Harriers had got off to a dreadful start, falling behind inside the first minute as Ryan Hayes' corner from the Dartford right deceived Danny Lewis and went straight in.

Harriers, showing two changes from the side that had lost to Forest Green last time out including Akwasi Asante coming in for his first start, soon began to get on top despite the early setback and midway through the half could have levelled the scores through Johnson who saw his 25-yard shot parried by home keeper Deren Ibrahim.

Shortly afterwards Dartford failed to clear a corner properly and Johnson's cross from the right found Jack Byrne but his glancing header went just wide.

After the break Harriers continued to enjoy most of the possession and the best of the goalscoring chances.  Seven minutes into the half Kevin Nicholson's corner from the right found Jordan Tunnicliffe who headed wide at the far post.

With a quarter of an hour to go Harriers best chance so far was wasted; Johnson's cross from the right found Jamie Spencer beyond the far post who headed back against the bar and the ball fell to Asante a couple of yards out but he was unable to apply the finishing touch.

The equaliser came after 78 minutes; Lewis's clearance was flicked on by Spencer into the path of Johnson who took the ball on into the penalty area before deftly clipping it over Ibrahim.  Five minutes from time Harriers took the lead; Spencer again the architect with a pass into the path of Johnson who drilled a shot past Ibrahim from the edge of the penalty area.

In stoppage time Dartford could have snatched an equaliser but Lewis was equal to Mat Mitchel-King's shot and Hayes fired the loose ball wide.
