Preview: AFC Telford United v Harriers

Harriers make the short journey to Telford this evening looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

The correct set of results elsewhere could see Harriers go to the top of the league with a win but even without other teams' help victory would ee them tucked in behind Salford ahead of Saturday's game with them at Aggborough.

Ashley Carter returns to the squad after missing the last three games through suspension, although he may find it hard getting back into the side following the performances of Ryan Croasdale in his absence.  Missing out, though, will be James McQuilkin who misses the game through suspension after picking up five yellow cards already.  McQuilkin's absence could let Carter back in or Liam Truslove could come in for his first start.

Telford haven't had a great start to the season; they have won just once but are the league's draw specialists with four from their first eight games.  They have struggled in front of goal, finding the net just five times - only Stalybridge have scored less.  There should be one familiar face in the United line-up this evening in the shape of midfielder Callum Gittings who moved to The New Buck's Head in the summer after leaving Solihull.

The last time the clubs met Gittings was the scorer for Harriers in a 1-1 draw at The New Buck's Head.  Overall Harriers have the upper hand since Telford reformed as AFC Telford United, winning two and drawing three of the six games played.

I expect Harriers to line-up as follows (4-3-3): Hornby; Williams, Francis-Angol, Lowe, Tunnicliffe; Croasdale, Truslove, Ngwatala; Waite, Dieseruvwe, Gnahoua.
Subs (from): Austin, Brown, Carter, Clarke, Digie, Stambolziev, Sweeney, Taylor, Thomas.
Missing (injured): Hodgkiss.
Missing (suspended): McQuilkin.
Missing (on-loan): J. Brown, Forsyth, Hancocks, Millichamp, Sho-Silva.

The referee tonight is Martyn Rawcliffe from Manchester who takes charge of a Harriers game for the first time.

This evening's weather forecast suggests that it will be cloudy with a temperature of 20°C and no chance of rain at kick-off time.
