Trialists Rewarded With Contracts
Robert Stambolziev has become the second trialist to earn a contract this week following on from Liam Truslove.
Stambolziev, 25, is a winger from Melbourne in Australia and was most recently seen playing for Sydney FC in the Australian A League. In his younger days he was in the academies at Bristol City and Greek side Panathinaikos but didn't make a senior appearance for either.
He had spells with further clubs in Greece and Cyprus including AO Proodeftiki Nikea, Thrasyvoulos Fylis, Olympiakos Nicosia, AEK Kouklia and Niki Volos before returning to his native Asutralis to join Sydney.
Truslove is another youngster who came through the academy at Birmingham City without reaching the first team; his only senior football so far has been suring a loan spell at Leamington.
Both players have signed contracts that keep them at Aggborough until the end of the season.
