Youngsters Into Senior Cup Final: Evesham United 0-3 Harriers
Trialist Jordan Murphy gave his hopes of securing a permanent move a boost with two more goals.
Having scored the winner in the quarter-final Murphy set up the opener for George Taylor before grabbing another brace for himself.
With Jordan Tunnicliffe leading the side as the only 'senior' player in the team that included five trialists it was a similar side to the one that had triumphed at Stourbridge in the previous round.
The opening goal came after just eleven minutes when Murphy got to the byline on the left before accurately picking out Taylor at the far post who was left with an easy tap-in. Murphy then doubled the lead midway through the half, latching on to a through ball from another trialist before slotting it past United keeper Kevin Sawyer.
With just 47 seconds on the clock in the second half Murphy added the third converting a low cross from the right at the near post. With twenty minutes still to go Evesham were awarded a controversial penalty for a James Hancocks foul on Leon Jeanne that took place at least a yard outside the box. Justice was done, though, when Jono Brown dived to his left to keep out Nick Stanley's spot kick.
Harriers comfortably saw out the rest of the game to book themselves a place in the final against Redditch United.
