Harriers' name will be in the hat for the FA Cup 4th Round draw after they held League One Peterborough to a draw

After 17 games without a clean sheet the Harriers backline stood firm to deny their higher-ranked visitors, surviving an incredible late goalmouth scramble that saw the frame of the goal struck three times.

With Chey Dunkley out suspended Mickey Demetriou came back into the side in his place but it was in attack that Harriers were first in the game.  In the opening moments Joe Lolley had the Posh defence backpedaling and his low cross was turned against his own bar by Shaun Brisley.

Both Lee Vaughan and Lolley forced United keeper Bobby Olejnik into action in the first half as Harriers gave as good as they got in the first half while Danny Lewis kept out Lee Tomlin's free-kick at the other end.

After the interval the visitors had the bulk of the goalscoring chances with the best falling to Britt Assombalonga who was thwarted on two occasions by Lewis.

With just a couple of minutes remaining Peterborough went closest to winning the game; Tomlin's free-kick cannoned back off the bar, Assombalonga's follow-up header was headed against the bar by Demetriou, Josh Gowling's attempted clearance only fell to Brisley who saw his effort headed off the line and against the bar by Lee Vaughan before Assombalonga hooked  the ball wide.

Somehow Harriers survived and earned themselves a replay and a place in the draw for the next round.
