Match Report by St@tto

Winless Chester scored their first  goal of the season but it was not enough to halt Harriers who scored three to move up to second in the league.

Harriers didn't play the flowing football that they had shown in the previous three matches, although Chester did their best to prevent them playing, clearly determined not to continue their losing run.

After an early chance for Micheal Gash who headed wide from Kyle Storer's corner the game soon became scrappy and it wasn't until the 27th minute when the same pair combined again, this time from a free-kick, that there was another decent goalscoring chance but again Gash headed over the bar.

Harriers took the lead on 32 minutes Josh Gowling heading in powerfully from Storer's corner.  In the last minute of the half Callum Gittings won the ball in the middle and set Marvin Johnson in on goal, the winger slotting calmly under former Harrier John Danby.  In stoppage time, though, Harriers went to sleep allowing Danny Harrison to head in from Lewis Turner's cross.

The second half was equally scrappy as the first.  Harriers were strong at the back but there was always the possibility that one mistake would cost them dear.  In stoppage time, though, young Joe Lolley - on for his home debut in place of Anthony Malbon - netted his first professional goal tucking his shot under the dive of Danby after receiving a crossfield pass from Gash.
