Match Report by St@tto
Harriers almost threw away the points in a game that they had dominated against a very poor Bury side when at 3-0 up they allowed the visitors to score two late goals.

The first half of the game was a very dour struggle with little goalmouth action.  The visitors were first to show, new signing Colin Cramb having a shot saved by Stuart Brock and then had another chance that he headed into the ground but it bounced over the bar to safety.

Harriers took the lead after 20 minutes with their first shot, Kenny Coleman crossed from the right and although the ball in was not very good he found Sean Parrish at the near post who swept it past Glynn Garner.  Shortly before the break Danny Williams hit a free kick through the visitors' defensive wall only for it to be blocked by Colin Woodthorpe.

The second goal arrived on the stroke of half time, Bury had a corner which the home team cleared finding Bo Henriksen on the halfway line, he fed Sean Flynn whose pass was perfectly judged for Andy Bishop who blasted it into the roof of the Bury net giving Garner no chance.

After the break Harriers continued to dominate and Bury looked nothing like a team in third place in the league.  Henriksen was set up by Bishop on the hour but delayed his shot too long and allowed Lee Unsworth to clear.  A minute later it was 3-0, Flynn split the Bury defence open again allowing Bishop a clear sight at goal, Garner's positioning was a little questoniable, and he easily tucked his shot inside the far post.

Bury manager Andy Preece sent Ian Lawson on with fifteen minutes remaining and he had an immediate impact.  He beat the Harriers offside trap and had a clear run on goal but shot tamely at Brock.  Next he was quickest to react when a Cramb free kick was blocked in the penalty area and he stabbed the ball in from close range.  Seven minutes from time Brock saved well from Cramb to concede a corner, but five minutes later Bury pulled another goal back: Ian Redmond with a free kick that went round the wall and low into the bottom corner of the net.

In stoppage time Cramb wasted a glorious chance to equalise shooting high and wide, hitting the scoreboard on the roof of the stand, and then in the fifth minute of added time Harriers almost added a fourth when Danny Williams had a shot saved by Garner and Ian Foster fired the rebound into the side netting.
