Match Report by St@tto
Harriers deservedly inflicted upon Shrewsbury their third consecutive home defeat with a workmanlike performance to bounce back from the previous week's defeat.

Drewe Broughton returned from suspension and Adie Smith took over from Kenny Coleman in the defence as the only changes to the team.  In a lively opening it was Shrewsbury who were first to threaten a goal when the unmarked Ryan Lowe fired over in the first minute but Harriers who took the lead after just four minutes with Bo Henriksen turning and firing his sixth goal of the season past the dive of Ian Dunbavin.  The lead was short-lived, however, Luke Rodgers crossing from the right for Ryna Lowe to volley home.

In the nineteenth minute The Shrews almost took the lead when Lee Ayres needlessly tried to pull the shirt off Rodgers' to concede a penalty.  Nigel Jemson stepped up to take the kick but Stuart Brock dived to his left to save and then reacted quickly to save the follow-up shot.  At the other end JJ Melligan was causing many problems and had several chances to score but his shooting was most often wayward and he only troubled Dunbavin once.

As the first half came to a close Shrewsbury took the lead when Lowe got free on the left and fired past Brock with the static Harriers defence appealing vainly for offside.  Harriers hit straight back in stoppage time, Sean Flynn found Danny Williams with a short free kick and the Welshman's shot defelcted off the end of the wall and looped over Dunbavin.

At the interval both sides made a substitution and changed their formation to 4-4-2.  Harriers regained the lead nine minutes into the half, Kenny Coleman setting up Sam Shilton who had found himself on the right wing and his cross to the near post was headed into his own net by David Artell.  The game was very open and likely to turn either way, Shrewsbury almost equalised four minutes later when Drewe Broughton headed towards his own goal and Coleman cleared off the line.

Harriers had a shout for a penalty turned down with twenty minutes remaing, Mark Atkins appeared to bring down Melligan but referee Pugh waved play on.  Atkins appeared unhappy with the way Melligan had gone down and there was some finger pointing on the part of both players.  Two minutes later Broughton had a great chance to score his first goal of the season when a quick break found Harriers in a 3-on-1 situation, but the striker shot early from outside the penalty area and missed the target completely.  Shrewsbury pressed for an equaliser but the Harriers defence stood firm to record their third away win of the season.
