Harriers regained the Worcestershire Senior Cup, taking the trophy 2-1 on aggregate after a disappointing game at Aggborough.

Despite fielding a near full-strength side, Harriers didn't impose themselves on the game as they may have hoped and although they created many chances they never looked as though they were going to win.

Moor Green took the lead after nineteen minutes, sloppy defending allowing Danny Scheppel, a former Harriers trialist, to plant the ball firmly past Stuart Brock in the Harriers goal.  Harriers created a number of chances with the best one falling to Drewe Broughton but somehow Adam Rachel in the Moor Green goal got a hand to his shot and clawed it off the line.  Sam Shilton in a lively early spell was twice denied by Rachel while Broughton, Doyle and Williams all had chances which missed the target.

After the break the game deteriorated considerably.  Harriers still had most of the possession and created the best of the goalscoring chances but the equaliser would not come.  Rachel denied Andy Ducros, and later substitute Andy Corbett, while at the other end Moors pressed for a second goal which would have sent the tie into extra-time with Leon Blake going close with a last minute shot that was deflected wide.  Harriers held on, however, and claimed the cup that they last won in 1999/2000, their 24th triumph in the competition.
