Match Report by St@tto
A typical game-of-two-halves saw Harriers come from behind to beat play-off rivals Hartlepool for the first time.

The visitors came out attacking from the start and didn't let Harriers settle.  Hartlepool were faster to the ball and closed down Harriers quickly, and shocked the home team with a goal after just three minutes.  Former Sheffield Wednesday striker Ritchie Humphreys lashed a volley past the helpless Stuart Brock from ten yards out.  Harriers never got out of the starting blocks in the first half, and never threatened an equaliser, while at the other end Brock was forced to save from Humphreys and the influential Mark Tinkler to keep Harriers in the game.

Harriers lost Scott Stamps to injury at the interval which caused a reshuffle of the line-up, but the half-time talking to that they received from Jan Molby ensured that they came out for the second period with greater purpose.  Adie Smith was the first to test Williams in the Hartlepool goal before two strikes in six minutes turned the game on its' head.  First Abdou Sall powerfully headed in Ian Foster's corner and then Colin Larkin slotted Dean Bennett's pass through the keeper's legs.

Hartlepool were struggling to get into the game in a similar fashion to Harriers in the first half, but when Harriers should have been pressing home their advantage Hartlepool equalised.  Substitute Gordon Watson fed the ball through to Tinkler who took it round Brock and scored from a narrow angle.  Harriers didn't let this setback affect them and found the winner three minutes from time.  Abdou Sall beat the defence with a chipped pass and Bennett fired in his eighth goal of the season.
