Match Report
Harriers recorded their first away win since beating Cheltenham in April, but had to hang on in difficult conditions before they were certain of the points.

There was a strong wind blowing the length of the pitch and Kidderminster played with it at their backs in the first half. The opening period was quite open and flowing, both teams managed to create good chances: Lee Glover wasted two very good oppotunites for Macclesfield and Mark Blake and Colin Larkin both went close for Harriers before Larkin opened the scoring with his first goal for the club. Despite playing against the wind, Macclesfield battled hard and had several more chances to equalise but Stuart Brock was in form in the Harriers goal and kept them at bay.

After the interval the home team tried their hardest to exploit the conditions and force an equaliser. They had most of the possession in the second period, but Harriers stood firm and soaked up the pressure. Brock continued to deny the Silkmen, saving from former Harrier Karl Munroe and sub Ricky Lambert, who looked very dangerous when he came on. Larkin had a good chance to wrap up the game but saw his effort saved by Wilson. As the game drifted away from them Macclesfield threw more bodies forward but Harriers held on for a well deserved victory.
