Match Report
A desperately disappointing game saw two set piece goals sink Kidderminster and maintain Rochdale's unbeaten start to the season.

The home team were off to a flyer when Ford's right wing corner was met powerfully by Griffiths while the Kidderminster defence stood and watched. The arrival of the Kidderminster team had been delayed by traffic on the motorway and some of them looked like they were still on the coach as they gave themselves a mountain to climb.

Kidderminster were undoubtedly understrength, both full-backs were missing along with captain Mark Blake, but there should still have been enough talent on the fieldd to get something from the game. Harriers probably had most of the possession for the first 75 minutes but rarely looked threatening although 'Dale stand-in keeper Matthew Gilks was forced to save from Hadley, Bird and Bennett twice in the opening period.

After the break, the game was a litle more open. Durkan twice drew saves from Stuart Brock and Kevin Townson lobbed a shot onto the roof of the net. Bennett also had another shot saved, but after sloppy defending at another corner had allowed Griffiths to head in the second the game was over as a contest.
