Match Report
Kidderminster's mini revival is ended by promotion chasing Cardiff, but the game was closer than the scoreline suggests. For most of te first half, Kidderminster were able to cut through the Cardiff defence almost at will and it was no surprise when Broughton fired them ahead with his fourth goal in eight games.

Cardiff drew level at a crucial time and their second goal on the stroke of half time was a killer blow. The direction of the game changed now and Cardiff had a third goal ruled out for a foul shortly after the interval. Kidderminster began to give the ball away to cheaply and wasted a string of chances before Cardiff appeared to have wrapped up the game with Gabbidon's late strike.

A late rally by the home side brought them back to within a goal and then a Cardiff defender headed against his own post in stoppage time before Earnshaw settled the nerves with a breakaway goal at the death.
