Match Report |
Harriers stretch to ight their run of games without a win, suffering
their sixth defeat in that spell. Also it is their third defeat
of the season at the hands of Carlisle.
Again poor defending in the opening spell cost Kidderminster dear, as against Hull they found themselves two goals down after the opening quarter hour but in Carlisle found an opponent who can defend a lead better. Once te lead had been established, Carlisle changed their formation and pulled Steve Soley back into midfield. From the on, Kidderminster had the best of the game. Broughton had already hit the post when the game was still goalless, and he missed a further chance while Daire Doyle forced Carlisle's Man-of-the-Match Matt Glennon into a save. After the interval Kidderminster had nearly all of the possession but could not convert them. Glennon made a string of saves from Broughton, MacKenzie and Smith to ensure the home side victory. |
